Layers of thought
Squeezing our soul
Oft times in our emptiness
Confounded, made whole

Unmasking life’s truth
Hiding within
We catch little accidents
And there we begin

To realize that logic
Its plots and its schemes
Is sometimes illogical
Deluded by dreams

Dreams unexpected
Unsaid and unspoken
We see with the heart
