Disappearing Into A Poem

snowdrift

Your misguided
Words driven into the page
Common humanity
On the brink of the impossible

Haunts like shadows of a ghost
Ordering words around
Language as sculpture, disparate elements converging
Images are born
The marriage of image and word
Piercing the heart

One last look

“When a poet’s mind is perfectly equipped for its work, it is constantly amalgamating disparate experiences”.  T.S.Eliot

    Tara Bridget Moore,

Your poetry is so beautiful and timeless! I especially loved your poem vexatious. Very engaging and it caused me to blush a little at the feelings I had. I am a huge fan of romantic type poetry, or as you classified it sensual poetry. I am always looking for these types of poems on different sites but they seem to be a rarety. I’m not a fan of poems that use too much profanity or are too explicit. You leave so much to the imagination as it should be. You are truly a wonderful writer. Thank you too for the poem above. It is haunting and causes my heart to skip a beat. It feels as though the poet see’s right through to the heart of whoever it was meant for. I actually had to take a look on sinconfessrepeat after reading this. I must say that his poem posted today was such a pleasant surprise from a male! I saw so much depth and yet it was also sensual as your poems lean. How lucky I feel to have found two new sites that are in keeping with my tastes.

    Thanks again,
    Katherine from Panama City Florida
