There is something mysterious about the sea. I have always been fascinated by what happens below the waves. There is so much life there that remains unknown and it is this mystery that I find so attractive. I hope you enjoy my poem about the Sea Horse… 

 

In my dreams I see you there

surrendering to waves that bear,

your silent dance of love.

In softly flowing sea grass,

somewhere far below,

Two creatures reach towards the sun,

Entwined upon the waves

as one.

They sacrifice their lives

to form a sacred gift,

Seeking one another,

In Sargasso seas they drift.

An act of love that saves,

The sons and daughters of the waves.

Their gift of love once offered,

shall never be in vain,

The love they made reflected

in the offspring that remain.
